A leading supplier of building materials and solutions into the basic services sector in Southern Africa, PPC has 14 cement factories in South Africa, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. PPC’s capacity is around nine million tonnes of cement products each year.

In addition to cement PPC operates a materials division which comprises of three main product lines namely Ready Mixed Concrete, Aggregates and Fly Ash. Ready Mixed Concrete is supplied from 23 batching plants operating in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, The North West and Limpopo. Ready Mixed Concrete can be tailor-made to clients’ individual requirements, whether it is an extension, to a residential house, and all the way up to the most complex, new infrastructural project.

PPC aggregates operates from two operations in Gauteng, supplying not only the construction industry but also the chemical, metallurgical and agricultural industries with speciality products. PPC Ash operates from two operations in Mpumalanga, supplying both classified and unclassified ash to various industries - from cement to pre-casters, to mines and to bulk concrete producers. PPC Ash is also a large exporter of ash to our neighbouring countries.

In addition to the above, PPC owns 59% in the DRC, without any value in its books.
