Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) is an initiative launched by the South African Government to address the restrictions that exist within the country for Black individuals to participate fairly in the economy.

PPC SA holdings maintained its level 1 B-BBEE contributor level in FY25.  We are committed to fostering an inclusive society and transforming the broader industry. We believe that transformation is a business imperative and a catalyst for economic independence. Our preferential procurement programme in South Africa supports local businesses and the development of small, medium and micro-enterprises (SMMEs). The majority of our preferential procurement spend is with BBBEE compliant suppliers, and the majority of our spend directed at SMMEs goes to black owned businesses with strong focus on black female owned entities.”
