CSI Projects

Brick making Workshop At Freeway Ministries

PPC lends a hand to the Non-profit organisation, Freeway Ministries, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre based in Retreat, Cape Town. The centre focuses on drug and alcohol recovery programmes as well as skills training to provide a foundation for re-integration into society. PPC sponsored a brick making machine, buildings materials and hosts an annual brick making workshop for the centre and surrounding communities. The revenue generated from the sale of bricks is allocated towards supporting the ongoing operations and sustainability of the centre.

Gratitude Comments from beneficiaries at Freeway Ministries:

“The partnership we have established with PPC Cement has greatly impacted our community. Your contributions have provided more than just materials and support; they have fostered hope, empowerment, and tangible skills among our participants. This workshop has been a significant step in our mission to change lives and uplift communities through skills programs”

PPC Employee Volunteering

Built on PPC’s commitment towards creating a positive social impact and contributing to the wellbeing of the communities we operate in, our employees volunteer their time and skills in various initiatives across our operations, making a meaningful impact and positively touching the lives of communities.
